Meet the Photographer

Olga karlovac is a Croatian photographer who specialises in abstract ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) images. These images are also in black and white which increases the contrast and also helps to keep the image abstract and yet still recognisable.

I was inspired by her images because tis still of Intentional Camera Movement, goes against everything I have ever been taught about photography and how to take a phot and so I was intrigued to see if I could emulate these techniques.

What I mean by this is, I have always been tough to put a two second delay on my camera in order to avoid accidentally moving the image, but in this case I was moving the camera whilst the shutter was open and this took some getting used to.
